Join us each month for a cuppa and kai at a local Cafe to share themes and ideas that are arising in our mahi.

Ideology of collected care and shared ethics to support sustainability of ourselves and others doing human work.

Creating a safe space for sharing and supporting one another. Intention of building more connections with like minded Social Workers/ health professionals / community workers in our community.

Working from the mindset and view of collective care and wellbeing for sustainability of workforces.

Collective care in the workplace and wider professional sector.

Positive workplaces understand the importance of:
- cultivating supportive communities- implementing preventative measures and protocols at an organisational level- formal and informal supports such as good management and leadership, regular supervision and peer support - encouraging employees to have fun and learn together to create cohesive teams with good morale

Connection is ... the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.
